Jack Kelly, England National Development Coach for British Gymnastics and erstwhile coach to no less than two former world champions, popped in to Brentwood Trampoline Club this week to oversee the final preparation of the club's 3 National Finallists. The Nationals, taking place next weekend(23rd/24th July) at the NIA in Birmingham, is the culmination of every gymnasts competitive year and based on their performances this year all three stand a good chance of winning a medal.
Pictured with Jack are Chrissie Law, 17, from Brentwood who will be competing in the Under-19 Ladies national C finals, Josh Newman, 12, from Noak Bridge who will be competing in the Under-13 Boys national C and Susanna Badley, 13, from Hornchurch who will be competing in the Under-15 Girls national C.
All three have trained with Brentwood from their very early days in trampolining and have progressed through the grading system delighting audiences wherever they compete with the elegance of their style - a trademark of the club which prides itself on high-quality above all else.

Good to see Jack Kelly continuing to pass on his excellence and vast experience to a new generation of trampoline athletes. The sport certainly has progressed beyond our vision at the first mens champs 52 years ago won by Brian Phelps. It is due to the late great Ted Blake's vision and enthusiasm, the equally great Rob Walker and his family, my friend and coach Syd Aaron and coaches of the calibre of Jack et al. I also commend your club for your achievements and web site - good luck to all athletes.

Good to see Jack giving of his excellence and vast experience to a new generation of trampoline athletes - it continues to bode well for the future of the sport.I read your site with great interest and marvel at the standards and skills achieved by your members. It goes beyond what we had envisioned at that first Brit Champs over 52 years ago and a great credit to the late great Ted Blake's vision and ambition, the equally great Rob Walker and his family,my friend and coach Syd Aaron and the many dedicated coaches and competitors that flash up from the memory banks as I write. I commend you for your excellence and a most informative web site. Good luck to your fine young team for more honours for your club.
