Birmingham Grade 1 - Good Results

Good results from Natasha Holme and Stephen Page both qualifying to Nationals and improving on previous results. Stephen also secured a 2nd place trophy and is now hoping for International selection.

Unfortunately a different story for Scott who, returning from a skiing break, performed a good set but landed on the end deck in his voluntary. Better luck in Cardiff Scott!

Full results for our members are here.

Ipswich Open

Wow, what a day we had today. 17 of our members made it there to compete together with judges and other officials without whom we would not have been able to compete in such numbers. Of that 17:
  • 6 won their groups;
  • 2 came second, one only on tie break having equal scored the first place winner;
  • 2 came third
  • and a further 5 were members of winning teams!
Even those two unlucky enough not to take home a trophy performed really well and did not disgrace themselves at all.

Detailed results for our members, together with some photos, will appear on our website here in the near future.

Qualified to Nationals

Congratulations to Natasha Holme who qualified to Grade 1 National Finals at Eastleigh yesterday. Also to Stephen Page who although falling during his Vol had still done more than enough to score a retaining score.
